Mensia Technologies is a revenue-stage Neurotech start-up developing ground-breaking non-invasive medical solutions leveraging the power of neuromodulation for the care of the Central Nervous System (CNS). Non-invasive neuromodulation is a family of technologies, including neurofeedback, low-power electricity (TDCS), or magnetic fields (rTMS) which induce a lasting normalization of brain activity and have been demonstrated to be an effective treatment for major CNS conditions.Our first product is an innovative, mobile, and personalized neurofeedback training (NFT) system for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). This medical device, ADHD@Home, once clinically validated, will provide an alternative to symptomatic psychoactive medication like methylphenidate (MPH). ADHD is a major Public Health issue affecting 5% of children and a fast growing therapeutics market estimated to reach $10B by 2020.
