Healthy people are happier, more engaged and productive at work, therefore, you should consider this training as an essential provision for your senior managers and employees. Legislation for Mental Health First Aid provision in the workplace is not yet in place, however, it is expected to be a top priority for Parliament (see the Government's Thriving at Work report setting out the core standards for a healthy workplace); and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have already published guidance on Mental Ill Health and First Aid and more recently have been promoting incorporating Mental Health in to risk management practices https://www.hse.gov.uk/stress/mental-health.htm.
