The Mental Illness Research Foundation of America is a tax-exempt, non profit organization dedicated to supporting research, providing innovative options for treatment and giving hope to those afflicted with mental illness.The corporation is organized exclusively for educational, research and charitable purposes within the means of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended. To this end, the corporation shall promote, develop and sponsor educational and research activities regarding anosognosia and its early detection and treatment. The corporation shall develop educational and treatment programs in furtherance thereof.
