Mentorship for Freedom was born out of our educational foundation Children in Freedom. It is like no other in Africa! We empower people to know who they are, where they come from, and what they are capable of. With this, the oasis of greatness in their life begins to spring out of them. We facilitate them to see themselves as the light and success that they are. We have seen a total turnaround in our participants, and we are certain that our programme holds the key to sustainable behaviour change and in corollary, it opens the door to active citizenship and patriotism, practice of values such as integrity and accountability, love and responsibility for oneself and others. Such an individual will in turn exhibit ubuntu related behaviour (I am because of who we all are), putting the society and others first, owning communality and taking responsibility over the success and wellbeing of their society. In this state, there will be a conducive environment to foster sobriety in gender matters, sexuality rights, and nonpartisan inclusion of all in development issues.Mentorship for Freedom brings about the much needed change and development for Kenya and Africa at large; because any sustainable development must be grounded in quality human capital, without this the programme is bound to fail. This mentorship programme is relevant to all sectors, professions, ages, and gender. It is a nonpartisan programme for change.
