At MeraDoc, we not only wish to eliminate the barrier of time and distance between doctors and their patients, but we also believe in placing focus on the doctor-patient relationship itself. A doctor who knows his patient well is aware of his unique family history and who can provide the time and safe space to openly discuss health issues is better able to assist the patient, resulting in more accurate results and higher patient satisfaction. At MeraDoc, we incorporate the General Physician Model (GP Model) which introduces the concept of a "family doctor" – a health professional who will be the go-to person in case of any and all health emergencies, since they will already be aware of the patient's unique medical history, thus making diagnosis and treatment more efficient and quicker. If ever the need arises for consultation from super specialists, direct consultation will be arranged and the patient's information will be passed on accordingly. Under all other circumstances, the patient's data is kept confidential and is not shared with third parties or monetized.
