It's not your standard pizza shop; in fact, this isn't a "pizza shop" at all.Anna and Michael Mercurio, a brother and sister duo, started Mercurio's in 2012 with the intent of bringing genuine Italian pizza and dining to the community in Shadyside. Michael, who is a certified Neapolitan pizza maker by the Italian government, is the head chef and pizza maker. Anna brings her heritage to the table by helping create many of the delicious menu items.
