Mercy Medical Center Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The Foundation was founded in 1977 by hospital administrator Sister Mary Lawrence Hallagan to support the operational, program and capital needs of Mercy Medical Center. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible as allowed by law. Contributions made through the Foundation support things like technology advancement, growth and innovation, program and capital improvements and staff development. Gifts may be made to support specific areas of interest like the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center, Family Caregivers Center, Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy and Hospice Care, HallMar Village, DeWolf Family Innovation Center for Aging & Dementia and Mercy's Heart Center. Unrestricted gifts are used to support areas of greatest need and opportunity.
