Merlyn is a clothing brand established in 2019 by long-time friends Diogo Branco and Francisco Marcko, two college students from Lisbon, Portugal. We wanted Merlyn to be all about comfort and lightness, a brand that could smoothly become a part of everyone's lifestyle. We introduced our first collections to friends and family and have since been reaching an increasingly larger number of people. One afternoon in Alentejo, while trying to come up with a logo that reflected our concept, we saw a fox on the side of the road, a rare sight around there, and took it as a sign. We see ourselves in the fox's ability to adapt to every environment and its spitirual symbolism of remaining flexible and welcoming of whatever comes next.We run a tight ship: we personally design all our products and rely on personal funds to develop the brand, but we are confident that by taking small steps Merlyn will make a big impact.
