The Evergreen State College has been a leader in environmental studies for more than 50 years. MES is a master of environmental studies graduate program at Evergreen.Our students and graduates are innovative thinkers who approach environmental challenges with eagerness and ambition. Because the best environmental solutions come from a variety of perspectives, we accept all majors. Our students, who come from across the U.S. and abroad, represent a wide range of ages, cultures, and expertise.We're located at the south end of the Salish Sea (Puget Sound) in Olympia, Washington, close to mountains, rivers, wetlands, forests, and shorelines.
