Metalman Automation is a Mumbai based Industrial machinery and Automation startup run by engineers from IIT Bombay. We design, manufacture and deploy advanced structural steel fabrication machinery for traditional steel fabricators and manufacturers spanning a number of industries. Our CNC plasma cutting solutions include Tube & Pipe Processing units, Strip coil processing units, and plate cutting machines. While 2D profiling is where flat strips or plates are cut, 3D Profiling is automated cutting of 3-dimensional complex forms like notches, miter cuts, saddles along with holes & slots on metal tubes, beams etc. The complex end-cuts will ensure precise geometrical fits, in order to create strong welded connections. For steel structures involving even a little complexity, fabrication costs per tonne of parts is usually high when producing at low-medium volumes.
