Metals Trading is a market leader in purchasing, processing and marketing of both Ferrous and Non Ferrous metal scrap. Metals Trading Pty Ltd was formed in January 2007 as a result of a merge between Associated Metals Victoria and Metropolitan Scrap Metals N.S.W, since this time the group has further expanded to include regional sites in Corowa, Wagga Wagga, Swan Hill, and Mildura. Metals Trading is part of the Recovcorp group, an entity backed by Hastings Funds Management Pty Ltd (Private Equity). The Metals Trading group has the ability to procure process and market non-ferrous and ferrous metals scrap, generated by manufacturing industry and dealer networks throughout these regions. From this base the company has expanded its field of expertise into the management of all waste products to provide its clients a comprehensive waste management service. Metals Trading also has strong trading presence in Western Australia, South Australia, Queensland and New Zealand. Metals Trading prides itself on the quality of its management team and experience of it trading department, it is this vast experience combined with our ability to find appropriate end markets for metal waste and innovative solutions for other waste management issues that sets us apart. We are committed to a long-term perspective encompassing an open trading relationship with business associates. The group has developed a reputation for processing of security sensitive scrap such as reject automotive components, electronic equipment, gas & water meters. All of these commodities must be destroyed / mutilated so as to be rendered unworkable. Metals Trading Pty.
