We show businesses where their security risks are and help them defend against future cyber attacks to reduce the chance they could be compromised. Vulnerabilities at a high level come from two basic issues, poor programming practices in the applications your company uses, or misconfigurations by the IT team. You can't do much about the former, except find ways to make the applications safer inside your company, and the later is an accident. We have options to monitor your network from the outside like a drive by hacker might do when scanning the internet looking for an easy hack. We also have the option of doing both the external and internal scans looking for vulnerabilities, risks and ways we can exploit them. This is similar to how a targetted attack might be. We use many of the same tools that the hackers use and as we discover new tools available to the hackers, we increase our arsenal. We then take the information we gather and partner with your IT team to help them defend your network in new ways. Your IT team can't be responsible for everything, so we offer training for your staff as well. Our training can include social engineering which means we try to trick your staff into giving us critical information, sending us money, or even giving us their ID and passwords. Typically speaking, people are the largest risk your company has, so by empowering your team with knowledge, we make your network more secure.
