We are a National Federation Demolition Contractor accredited company with over 45 years experience in the demolition industry, we can provide a total demolition service to suit clients of any size. As one of the leading UK demolition companies we are able to satisfy both domestic and commercial customers with an impressive contract range of between £500 and £3 million. All customers receive the same high level of service from our dedicated team to ensure projects run smoothly from planning to completion.In order to carry out a diverse range of work, we have extensive plant, vehicles and waste recycling capacity based in a 4 acre site in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. We have invested heavily in the latest technology such as hydraulic grabs, shears and high reach excavators to ensure we are constantly at the forefront of the demolition industry. Metropolitan Demolition LTD began it's journey in 1966 by brothers, Trevor and Peter Hirst. In 1991 Trevor wound up Metropolitan Demolition, it was then restarted in 2008 by his Grandson and current Director Michael Hirst. Trevor has since worked with Michael providing guidance and sharing his wealth of experience which has certainly helped the company progress to where it is today. Although times have changed, Metropolitan Demolition's core values and principles remain the same; to ensure the utmost standard of safety during every project and to reclaim/recycle wherever possible.
