Founded in 1998 by METU Students as Turkish-Japanese Communication Society, then renamed in 2014 as Japanese Culture Club.Main motto of the society is to learn and share more about the Japanese culture, to commune with international students and create an environment for cultural exchange. Our activities include weekly Japanese lessons, manga drawing lessons, origami lessons and Mahjong sessions. At the same time, we organize movie and animation screenings, interviews with renowned people and Japan Days which is held every year in the spring semester.
