MH Ventures was founded in 1998 by Ray-Scott Miller. The first venture was a small catering and retail spaghetti shop named My Favorite Spaghetti. He failed at that venture and that company went down in a blaze of glory. Ever the persistent SOB, Ray-Scott maintain his ultimate goal of creating new and exciting places to eat. There were quite a few ventures in the years after My Favorite Spaghetti, ultimately culminating in Newks in 2011, Fine & Dandy in 2017, and It's Happening JXN in 2018. Now MH Ventures is a leader in the culinary scene for Jackson, MS
