My name is Alison Ramsay and I set up Mhor Media, an Aberdeenshire-based copywriting and PR consultancy, in May 2017. I have 20 years' experience in journalism, public relations and marketing, working both in-house in higher education and latterly in a senior role with one of the UK's top marketing and PR agencies, where I worked on strategic and creative PR campaigns for B2B clients in a wide range of sectors including oil and gas, education, regional airlines, the Third Sector and the arts.Through Mhor Media, I work with clients to help them engage with their audiences in a relevant and cost-effective way. Together, we sit down and plan the best way to share their messages and their stories, from the traditional methods of PR and journalism to producing a full digital media strategy which will help them connect with their audiences through the various social media channels.The services I offer include:- copywriting (press releases, brochures, newsletters, article writing, web copy, social media content)- proof reading and editing - digital media strategy - award entries Also, with extensive experience in crisis comms and reputation management, I provide emergency response and crisis management consultancy to a number of companies, including oil and gas operators, contractors and oilfield service providers, regional airlines, higher education establishments and the Third Sector.
