Mi Casa, Tu Casa Child Care is a licensed child care home; as a licensed child care home we comply with all applicable licensing regulations and standards. These standards relate to the home, health, safety procedures, nutrition, care giver to child ratios, and record keeping. We believe that these standards are in the best interest of the children. Our home is subject to inspection by state and city health, fire, and licensing officials. Parent's may obtain a copy of the official Rules Regulating Family Child Care Homes by visiting the Colorado Office of Early Childhood and/or by visiting the Secretary of State's website https://www.sos.state.co.us.At Mi Casa, Tu Casa Child Care we are passionate about play! We have a family setting and our focus is to teach life skills and help children reach milestones. Play and art are at the heart of our child care. We truly believe children learn through play and we do not underestimate its importance on a growing child's mind and body. Days here at our home are full of educational/developmental activities, free play, guided play, and lots of child-directed speech. Healthy and nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch, pm snack) are also offered to all enrolled children as part of our participation in the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Finally, your child will be fully immersed in the Spanish language- the best way to learn a second language or reinforce a home language!Our ultimate vision at Mi Casa, Tu Casa Child Care is twofold, involving both the present and the future. For the present, our goal is for parents to feel confident about their child care choice, by ensuring that their children are safe, engaged, learning, and happy. For the future, our goal is to nurture a close community of bilingual families and to create the foundation for bilingualism for our future generations.
