Architecture & Planning - Kraków, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Poland
It all started with the experience we gathered working for architect bureaus, real estate development companies and in the capital market. An idea was born to create a really well functioning housing estate. We're aware that there are not many functional and comfortable apartments on the market, and their prices are high - that's why we've decided to find a way to offer people better and cheaper housing space. Putting the motto "Don't pay for needless meters" into practice, we've developed apartments that are bright, airy and allow easy access to green areas, while, as we manage the space, getting rid of unnecessary corridors and nooks, continue to be cheaper. The apartments were sold out quickly, also because they were available for competitive prices. That's the story behind Osiedle Nad Stawem (Estates Over the Pond). When we were finishing that project, we started thinking of how we could put thus gained experience to produce something new. We began by designing the apartments, and went on to arranging them into well-functioning housing estates. That's the origin of miastologia (urbanology) - a real estate development company where: Design is all about people, not about things The architecture is for everyday life, not for show We make profit to act, not act to make profit
