Michael grew up in a creative, "artsy," yet structured environment. His family still lives in Orange County, a haven for families, after school sports, Irvine beige and lots of police. Needless to say, the community considered the Frazier family a little "weird." His father was a painter and photographer, and not the kind that took pictures of freshly painted open homes. His mother was a medical professional that dabbled in the world of fine art through her passion of music and church chorus. Both parlayed the importance of perfecting and respecting craftsmanship; the joy of being an artist. Michael witnessed, first hand, since he was a child, the magic that takes place when you bring together family traditions and hard work, and it stuck with him.A nod to his father's influence, Michael adopted the ability to create with his hands, as skill that eventually found its way into his Creative Direction. Collecting well designed brochures, studying small details in paper and type choices, how elegant words "felt" on the page, he became enamored by the hand-crafted mechanisms, which became the blueprint for his own designs in film, interactive, web and eventually, User Experience.
