The Michael Mazzeo Gallery operated in New York's Chelsea Gallery District from 2005 through 2012. The gallery was one of the premier showcases of new and under-recognized talent, having awarded 15 artists their first solo exhibitions in New York City and including nearly 100 others in group exhibitions. Exhibitions were featured in many prominent publications, such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Art In America, the Village Voice and numerous online venues.Works form the gallery artists reside in major institutions including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Philadelphia Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Princeton Museum and Fidelity Investments, as well as by many private collectors.
