I'm a photographer/videographer; it's what I do. Not everything looks like what it appears to be at first glance – I want my images/videos to resonate with an immediate emotional pull bringing in the viewer. Tolstoy observed that any art, in order to actually be art, must above all be infectious. A work must create an immediate visceral response, an electric sense of recognition that is instantaneous whether or not that recognition is immediately understood. Depending on the location, finding the significance of the subject enables the thrill of finding and creating the perfect shot and video. I would hope that my photographs/videos tell the story of inspiration, motivation, hard work, team spirit, dreams, and achievement; touching the hearts of the entire world—and eliciting important core feelings that all works of art evoke. I've been a photographer/videographer and shooting people for over 20 years for an impressively eclectic group of higher education, advertising, corporate, pharmaceutical, and editorial clients. I bring to my shoots love and passion for photography and videography and my desire to have my portraits and videos tell a story and create energy. My expertise is thinking creatively, quickly, communicating clearly with my clients on our goals. My ability to relate to all the people I'm photographing and filming to create a calm and professional environment. I have fine-tuned my technical and creative photography and video skills to the highest level. This allows me the ability to walk into any situation, assess it quickly, understand my client's needs, communicate about how we are moving forward, make creative decisions on composition and then relax my subjects to produce engaging photographs and videos. I have also fine-tuned my photography/video equipment and assistants to make the photography and filming process as smooth as possible.
