MEDA's Vision Leading Michigan's economic development through education, networking and advocacy on economic development. MEDA's Mission To undertake education, networking and advocacy on economic development for and in support of our members, partners and stakeholders. The Michigan Economic Developers Association (MEDA), founded in 1960, exists to advance economic development throughout Michigan, and increase the individual member's effectiveness in the economic development profession. The association's goal is to provide a variety of services and programs which will enhance ability and skills in economic development.
