Our mission is to provide the hospitality industry with user-friendly chemicals that are gentle on the environment. After many years of working in commercial cleaningand hospitality. Microgiene Founder Joshua Davis was tiredof dealing with chemical companies that had complicated ranges with multiple choices for basically the same chemical. A number of these products were the same thing just with a different name or more concentrated or more diluted etc. Enough was enough! The first change was to find asuitable manufacturing partner. The challenge was finding an Australian-owned contract manufacturer that could do small batch production and was committed to sustainability. In 2019/2020, Josh started working with a suitable manufacturer based in Queensland that has over 20+ years of manufacturing and developmentexperience. It was now time for the real fun to begin. Developingan Eco-Friendly Automatic dishwashing liquid was a high priority. Inconjunction with an industrial chemist, we created EcoGreen Dishwashing liquid. This was a great achievement for Microgiene and our manufacturing team. In late 2020, We pitched the product to a Health Retreat on the Gold Coast that is on a Bio-Cycle system and has set a goal to only use Environmentally Friendly Products. With a focus on their kitchen facilities being the area they wanted to see a change in from traditional chemicals. After trialling EcoGreen, it was an easy decision to change over to Microgiene.With the proof in the bag, we set about manufacturing more Environmentally friendly, Biodegradable and Septic safe products.
