Founded in 1958, The Mid-America Cable Telecommunications Association is a nonprofit, membership organization of cable telecommunications system operators in the central region of the country. Members and attendees of the show include operators from Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas and programmers and vendors from all over the country and Canada. This year's show in Kansas City will begin on Wednesday, September 25 with an opening night reception at Tom's Town Distillery. Educational sessions, cable tech games and a casino reception benefiting the Weary Scholarship fund will take place at the Marriott Downtown Kansas City on Thursday, September 26.
