Matrix Elektronik AG, based in Ehrendingen in Northern Switzerland, is a supplier of light barriers, proximity switches and fibre-optic sensors. Founded in 1976, the company has supplied a variety of manufacturing and processing industries, in particular harsh environments such high temperature (up to 400°C) and high voltage, and areas at risk of explosion. Matrix Elektronik products are also known for their high quality and dependability, the result of meticulous and rigorous testing by the company's Quality Assurance staff; ensuring the products perform as you expect them to. Today, nearly 40 years later, Matrix Elektronik is now part of Tippkemper-Matrix GmbH in Marialinden in Overath, Germany, and continues to sell the Matrik Elektronik range to a variety of industries' production lines. Miden Limited is the reseller for Tippkemper-Matrix for the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, since 1980, and is based alongside the Grand Union Canal in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. Founder Bjorn Askert, physicist and Honorary Vice President of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, was first introduced to Matrix Elektronik products in 1980. He was intrigued by the technology and impressed by the overall level of quality and attention to detail, and saw a strong need for this range of products in the UK and Irish markets. Miden began distributing Matrix products the same year. With several decades of experience with Matrix Elektronik products, we offer full technical product and post-sales support. We provide a reliable, efficient and courteous service. Our hours of business are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, and we are contactable by phone, fax or email.
