Local selfgovernment of Mielec (a city in the south of Poland). Located on the Wisłoka River in the south-eastern part of Poland in Podkarpackie Province, Mielec is proud of its more than 500-year history. The city has about 61 thousand inhabitants. Since the mid-nineteenth century it became a regional centre for socio-economic development. Two industrial sectors had a particular impact on the development of the city – aerospace and automotive.
