Migrada is an interest association for migrant workers. Migrada is created, with an important goal: The structural improvement of the situation of migrants in the Netherlands. Migrada is mainly aimed on providing information, knowledge sharing, networking, political lobby, collaboration, innovative and practical solutions. That makes us the partner for migrant workers, companies, organizations and governments. Migrants who are coming to the Netherlands well prepared, will less likely get in trouble. This also applies to governments, organizations and companies. Proper preparation prevents problems. For this reason Migrada provides migrants with information in their own languages and advises organizations in issues such as housing. We also take part in discussion groups, we give lectures, but above all, we interpret the voice and experience of migrant workers. Our organization consists of migrants from a large part of the EU. Even migrants who are well informed and come to the Netherlands well prepared, could get in trouble if they fall into the trap of malicious employers, housing organizations or service providers. For this reason Migrada collects notifications about this and reports it to the various enforcers. Also Migrada is putting a lot of energy in an active lobby to ensure that malicious structures will be made impossible for the future.
