Mijnmaatschappij Curaçao (MMC) is internationally known as the Curaçao Mining Company. We are part of the 'Janssen de Jong Group' with headquarters residing in The Netherlands, where the company was founded. Our core business is mining and processing of our High-Purity Calcium Carbonate deposit (CaCO3), to deliver aggregates of various sizes according to ASTM & NEN standards. Besides supplying the local market with construction grade aggregates, we export to various industries in more than 25 countries in the region. Under our "Curaçao Calcium" brandname we supply the raw materials necessary for high-quality applications such as:- The production and purification of drinking water (we are NSF certified)- The production of the clearest flint glass - Agricultural Lime for soil improvement and PH boosting- Low Grade Phosphate fertiliser with a phosphate content of up to 4%- Poultry feeds calcium additive for chicken farmers- Producers of Hydrated LimeWe own and operate our port-facility with state of the art loading equipment for bulk vessels up to 7000 DWT, with a loading rate of up to 500 tons/hour. Due to our strategic location we are able to deliver at a very competitive rate. High quality is guaranteed through our certifications and continuous quality control process. Besides bulk vessels we are also able to offer our product in small bags of 25KG or BigBags of 1300 KG which can be delivered in 20ft. containers, with a maximum of 27 metric tons per container. Our processes comply with the highest quality standards. Our trained personnel works with highly technical and fully automated drilling, blasting, crushing and sieving equipment, which enables us to produce and deliver at international standard levels.
