The Mike Zarmati Soccer Academy specializes in the development of youth soccer players in Montreal. Founded in 2009 by Mike Zarmati (B.Ed Physical and Health Education - McGill University), the academy has since trained over 500 players ranging from 5 to 12 years of age. It is currently associated with the Nun's Island Soccer Association Development Youth Centre and has currently over 100 players under its wings.Mike Zarmati has occupied such positions as technical director of the Nun's Island Soccer Association and has been their head referee and field director since 2005. With over 3000 games refereed at the house league and competitive level since 2003, Mike has developed a very specific understanding of coaching youth soccer. With coaching accreditations from the Quebec Soccer Federation, he continuously aims to elevate the level of soccer at the youth level, the most important developmental stage of a child's life. The Mike Zarmati Soccer Academy offers many personal services such as consulting services for coaches and soccer associations, personal trainings sessions for team of all ages, extra-curricular activities after school, coaching services for corporate teams as well as school or club teams.
