Our SANTA ROSA factory was built in 1935 from a family vision and hard work, in the heart of the tequila zone in Jalisco called Amatitan. Addition of new technologies and the strict compliance with quality manufacturing processes guarantee the fine quality of all products manufactured in this plant. In 2007 MIKSA CORPORATION was created as a trading and marketing arm for the plant ABOUT OUR TEQUILA  The plant manufactures the following types in 4 classifications:  Young tequila ( 51% agave, 49% other sugars ) known as Mixto White Tequila typically called Blanco Semi-aged Tequila known as Reposado ( minimum 6 to 8 months aging) Aged Tequila or Añejo ( 12 months aging or more) Extra aged Tequila, known as Extra Añejo (more than 4 years aging) All products exceed international standards and have a wonderful and smooth flavor balance originating in the careful harvesting and processing of 7 to 8 year old, fully ripe, agave plants.
