Mila Foundation Details
The name of the foundation, ‘Mila', is a Noongar word which means ‘in the future'. We work with Indigenous students through our Youth Programs and Indigenous and Non-Indigenous people, communities and businesses to have different internal conversations that in turn develop different external conversations. The Mila Foundation consists of three business units; Youth, Corporate and Events. All of the business units contain three key objectives: 1. To change the conversation in Australia around Indigenous affairs and work together to strive for true equality 2. Build mental resilience, critical self-analysis, cultural competence and leadership skills with our participants 3. Actively engage with established Indigenous and Non-Indigenous communities and businesses to provide quality, relevant services
