Girl Icon uses digital smart solutions to provide experiential leadership programs for girls to equip them with requisite skills, knowledge and networks for being a leader to break barriers, challenge the status quo, and create an equitable society.Milaan Foundation’s work starts with nurturing and amplifying the voices of the Girl Icon Fellows who were selected out of 15,000 applicants, since 2015, coming from marginalised communities in India. With 100 Girl Icon Fellows currently across two states of India (Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh) and building, Milaan seeks to scale the girls’ leadership building program utilising a customisable digital smart solution and further galvanising the 2,000 leaders of the Girl Icon Peer Groups supporting each fellow.By 2021, Milaan Foundation seeks to scale our program to support the aspirations of 1,000 Girl Icon Fellows and 20,000 Girl Icon Peers with the potential to scale international utilising the digital smart solutions.
