Mildmay Uganda is a Local NGO offering Comprehensive Care , Training & Research in HIV& Other Health priorities; established in 1998Vision"Communities equipped to effectively respond to HIV and other health issues"MissionModelling quality and sustainable prevention, care and treatment of HIV and other heath priorities , using a family centred approach together with training , Education and Research.Our ReachWith support from PEPFAR through CDC, Mildmay works in partnership with Ministry of Health and the leadership of 16 supported districts of central uganda;Over 500,000 people tested per year - 10% childrenOver 84,000 people in care with 80% on life saving ARVsSupports over 16,000 OVCs & their families to access care & other services-economic strengthening .Reaching over 6,000 Children with HIV; TestingOver 65,000 pregnant women reached annuallySupporting over 286 salaried health workers in the region; over 5000 trained annuallyCervical cancer screening, treatment and palliation; supported 10 sites across Uganda; supported over 20,000 women to screen to prevent this cancer
