MILE School Details
MILE is a bilingual school that follows an intercultural education, close to Italian traditions because of its founder's roots, but realizing that this knowledge is enriched by integrating it with other cultures. This can occur by using English as a common language. MILE wants to be a school that offers its students the possibility of gaining knowledge through practical activities by which they can experience various ways of learning and acquire different methods for problem-solving. The school subjects are interconnected, ensuring a solid educational base with an open-mindedness reinforced by thinking, working and communicating in two languages: this is the essence of bilingualism. MILE promotes a method of a study that allows all its students to become autonomous and responsible learners. MILE is a school that recognizes the importance of physical activities: Not only do we have Physical Education as a subject but all of our students attend a Sports Centre every week. MILE also believes in the universal value of music: Our students learn to read, write and compose music. MILE believes also in the value of the Fine Arts: Art and Drama MILE's goal is to help the families discover the skills their children have MILE sees diversity as a plus; therefore, it supports individualized learning
