5 Lakes Institute is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to working with like-minded partners to build and connect the Great Lakes Region's high technology entrepreneurial economy and culture. This strategy, which we began working on In 2017, is focused on accelerating the pace of technological innovation and entrepreneurship across the entire Great Lakes Region.We changed our name in 2020 to 5 Lakes Institute to better reflect our efforts to promote a regional high-tech infrastructure and ecosystem and our belief in the importance of cooperation across the region. The Great Lakes region is home to a stunning collection of globally diversified, tech-rich companies, leading academic research institutions, and emerging technology ventures poised for explosive growth from innovations that leverage next-gen technologies. We're very excited to do our part to help the region realize its full economic potential
