Minaxi are an alternative rock band from Brooklyn. Consisting of songwriters Shrenik Ganatra and Liam Christian, and drummer Steve Carlin, Minaxi's sound combines elements from psychedelia, shoegazing, dream pop, hard rock, ambient and sufi music.Some of the artists/bands that we like listening to and are inspired by include The Smashing Pumpkins, Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, Jal, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, A.R. Rahman, Sunny Jain, Strings, Junoon, Radiohead, Hania Rani, Jimmy Chamberlin Complex, The Cure, LSD and the Search for God, Lucky Ali, David Bowie, Dinosaur Jr. and The Beatles. The band has self-released music since their formation in 2018. The discography includes 'Zidd (EP)', 'Khwab', 'The Zia Fantasy (EP Trilogy)' and 'sialia (EP)'.
