The SBMLC is a holistic stress-management "community without walls." The aim of the organization is in teaching and promoting mindful living, wellness, and holistic stress-management. In this fast-paced and hurried Western culture we are very often over-worked, burned out, maxed out. We pursue material attainments that seemingly satisfy our inner needs and desires; and yet in their pursuit, we often miss out on more profoundly meaningful gifts and lessons of the spirit that are only found by being present in the moment. Mindful living is the art of embracing each moment in depth and fullness; and, the art of positive well-being and self-care through the integration of body, mind, spirit, and emotions.
