Mindy Shear has been playing with brushes and painting faces since 1987. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Mindy took an interest in the art of makeup, at a very young age, and for the past 25 years Mindy has been working with a selected celebrity clientele, Sponsoring events such as; Montreal, Toronto, and New York Fashion Weeks, Browns Fashion Show as well as many other charities. Mindy's is continuously doing make up for fashion shows, photo shoots, corporate, and bridal. After graduating from makeup school, Mindy set up a studio in small Montreal salon. As her client base expanded, Mindy began catering to Montreal's elite clientele including radio and T.V. personalities from all over. Mindy Shear was one of the first to develop an all mineral based Canadian make up line as well as bring airbrush make up and semi permanent eyelashes to the Montreal beauty market. Recently, Mindy Shear has continued expansion and now offers permanent make up. In 1992 Mindy completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Concordia University and continued to gain industry experience. In 2002 Mindy opened her fist Mindy Shear Make Up store in Montreal's prestigious Westmont Square. Today she has consolidated her retail stores to one location in Modelo Spa and is focusing on building her mineral make up brand globally and on line. Mindy was nominated for the Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, won awards for quality establishment based on professionalism and service and participated in the CBC reality show "Dragons Den". Mindy Shear does make up for Living Montreal, CBC and Entertainment Spotlight CTV and has made several appearances on different TV shows and web TV demonstrating make up tips and trends.
