Miner MotoStudent is a multidisciplinary collegiate team at Missouri Science & Technology University with 501c3 classification. The team is competing in the MotoStudent competition which has teams develop a prototype Moto3 motorcycle to be raced at FIM sanctioned race at Motorland in Aragon, Spain.The MotoStudent competition includes two categories. A petrol and electric category. Miner MotoStudent is competing in the petrol category. Teams in the Petrol category receive a sealed KTM 250 engine (which must remain sealed with a stock ECU), Bridgestone Battlax tires and spec brakes. The rest of the bike is scratch built along with the purchase of some components.
