Mining Family Matters serves the mining, oil and gas industry by boosting the emotional resilience of employees and families. It's our goal to help families cope with the challenges of working away or living in remote areas.Our free website www.miningfm.com.au was launched in February 2010 to provide professional support and practical strategies for families across Australia. The site now attracts thousands of visitors every month and our combined website and Facebook subscriber numbers are more than 7500.We also publish a series of survival guides for families in mining, oil and gas, with sales recently passing 140,000 to companies nationwide and across the globe. In early 2014 we launched a dedicated website (www.miningfm.ca) and Working Away Guide for Canadian families in mining, oil and gas.
