Mining for Jobs will become the first private company that will provide more jobs for the unemployed than any of the large business entities in South Africa.We currently utilise funds allocated for Corporate Social Investment and Local Economic development Projects conducted by companies such as African Rainbow Minerals; ASA Metals; and various other large corporate groups to develop and train unemployed students in different communities throughout South Africa.During 2010 we trained 700 students whereby we managed to secure jobs for them within the hospitality sector. A surplus of jobs during the Soccer World Cup and peak holiday seasons are also created.Mining for Jobs is the leading provider of integrated occupational skills training, with training courses delivered to staff members through a combination of rich video and animation, text-based learning material and interactive assessments through the Intranet, Internet and mobile.MFJ also innovated with the introduction of Incentivised Learning, in which people are incentivised to complete training modules through the awarding of incentives such as airtime.Our primary innovation thus far has been the use of rich media through an interactive platform to achieve unprecedented effectiveness of training and assessment.WE CREATE JOBS!
