Ministers Island is a 500 acre tidal island located in Chamcook, New Brunswick. The island was once home to Sir William Van Horne, who built his 20,000 sq/ft "cottage" Covenhoven in dedication to his mother. The island is now a national and provincial historic site and maintained by Van Horne Estate on Ministers Island Inc., who ensure that the island is maintained and accessible to the public.
