The Minnesota Youth Ballet Academy represents the culmination of the dreams and passions of Ellen Huston, John Huston, Daniel Blake and Julie Blake. The core belief of Minnesota Youth Ballet Academy is that every student can flourish and mature both physically and emotionally from quality dance training, specifically classical ballet training. The faculty of Minnesota Youth Ballet Academy has extensive experience as teachers, coaches, members of professional ballet companies, choreographers, directors, and production managers. Minnesota Youth Ballet Academy's training is a ballet focused curriculum that spans from classical jazz and exciting contemporary choreography, to diet, physical therapy, pilates and injury prevention. We are thrilled to partner with the Rochester Athletic Club with the outstanding facilities they offer including marley covered sprung floor for our students. Minnesota Youth Ballet Academy is proud to be the official home of Minnesota Ballet Theatre, a non-profit, semi-professional dance company debuting in February 2013 with the original hit production TeenAge WasteLand.
