MIRA PHOTO is a collective of photographers co-founded by four Malagasy photoreporters Henitsoa Rafalia, Iako R, Tangalamamy and Rijasolo.Based in Antananarivo, Madagascar, MIRA PHOTO's photoreporters want to bring a different, photojournalistic and documentary view of their country and the many social, political or cultural events that animate the daily life of Malagasy people. Authors and artists, the photographers of MIRA PHOTO believe in a humanistic and committed practice of photography and want to put forward a strong aesthetic identity in order to sensitize a large public to the universal language of photography."
