City Government/Municipal Government - Lynchburg, VA, us
Miriam's House was formed in 1991 through a combined effort of community members, churches, and philanthropists and, we opened our doors on Magnolia Street in January 1994 to provide transitional housing to homeless women and children. For nearly 30 years, Miriam's House has expanded our efforts to end homelessness and currently offers a variety of onsite and community-based homeless response programs all aimed at ensuring homelessness in the Lynchburg area is rare, brief and nonrecurring.
