Mirqah Media Lab is an interdisciplinary research and development lab, focused on creating innovative media and technology products with potential to solve the problems organisations face, at scale.We bring together researches, programmers, game designers, and artists, along many other media professionals. We incubate, launch, grow and hopefully spin-off media products. We currently have one research center led by Karim El-Mehairy, a final year Doctoral Scholar at the University of Oxford, focused on learning technologies. This research center is currently working on two projects:- Traders: An online (and board) game designed to teach business acumen and financial literacy.- Learmapp: A learning social network, designed to bring together members of organisations around their learning interests.
