Michelle Aznavorian was 19 when she started her first business; an eBay store selling second-hand designer clothes. By 22, she had self-funded her studies at the Melbourne School of Fashion and was ready to embark on another solo venture.MISHA COLLECTION came from humble beginnings in Michelle's family garage in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. "I remember having racks and racks of clothing throughout mum and dad's house and my partner's house. When it got to a point where they could barely open their front doors, that's when I looked into leasing a warehouse!"With clear vision, determination, strong business acumen and a passion for success, Michelle had the motivation and drive to push herself to the limit. Her eye for the exquisite combined with experience in buying and product development gave her entrepreneurial spirit an edge.From the time MISHA began in July 2013, the team quickly grew from one, to three, to five, and today houses a team of 20, working across Design, Sales, E-Commerce, Production, Wholesale, Marketing, Operations and Warehousing. At the helm is Michelle as Creative Director. Now 29 years of age, Michelle oversees all aspects of the company. Her keen eye for detail and endless vision for the future has resulted in season after season of expertly edited and well-received collections.2016 saw MISHA COLLECTION become the name on everyone's lips. From stellar debut appearances at both New York Fashion Week and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, MISHA made waves around the globe for breathtaking collaborations with international supermodels Bella Hadid and Jourdan Dunn.
