we're mishwar, a small children's charity living and working in north lebanon, near the syrian border. relying mostly on your generous donations, we work with refugee youth and locals, providing support through community-driven initiatives that are creative, empowering and playful. we started way back in may 2016, when we moved here in response to the ongoing refugee crisis. over the years, with some voluntary help from many loving hands, our creative projects and grass-roots approach have enabled us to bring together and connect different vulnerable communities across akkar, lebanon's poorest region. the needs are increasing and the way we work is constantly adapting so we're grateful for your support along the way. we're excited for mishwar's next chapter.
