Mismoxo S.L.'s objective is to reduce the rate of unplanned pregnancies* and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)** in Spain while creating jobs and making a positive impact on our community. In August of 2017, the Ministerio de Economía, Industria y Competitividad and the Dirección General de Comercio Internacional e Inversiones issued a report, finding the business plan and objectives Mismoxo SL to be in the social and economic interest of Spain. Our company will approach the Spanish community using two distinctly different models and target populations. Our Mismoxo brand is seeking collaborations with college health services and community related programs to create easy and inexpensive access to high quality prophylactics. We are open to contact from any company, institution, or organization to discuss potential synergies and collaborations. Our ¡eslapolla! brand utilizes a direct to consumer model via a subscription based e-commerce channel. Our brand name of ¡eslapolla! is based on the Spanish idiom ¡Es La Polla! We intend to infer "it is f#&king awesome!" from the idiom. We fully recognize that some people see the brand name as controversial; however, these people are also not our clients. Regardless, we aim to maintain a respectful balance with our branding, and we strongly believe that our employees, our products, and our brand are f#&king awesome!*The European Journal of Contraception and Reproductive Health Care cites the rate of unintended pregnancies in Spain to be 35% of the general population, resulting in a direct cost burden of €292.8 million per year.
