Mission 2014 BC Winter Games Details
From February 20 – 23, 2014 the District of Mission will be hosting over 1900 athletes, coaches, and officials from across British Columbia as they arrive in our community to participate in the 27th BC Winter Games.The BC Winter Games provide a competitive multi-sport environment that supports the development of athletes, coaches, and officials as they move on to higher levels of competition. The BC Games also contribute to the development of sport and communities through infrastructure updates and improvements; volunteer engagement and skill enhancement; and large-event hosting experience.The Games Organizing Committee, composed of a dedicated group of volunteers responsible for planning and operation, will be drawing on an estimated 2,500 volunteers to deliver the Games.Visit www.bcgames.org for information about supporting the Games and to sign-up as a volunteer.
